Flick Gocke Schaumburg is a German partnership of lawyers , tax consultants and auditors . The partnership has 75 full partners and 80 associated partners. The law firm primarily works in the field of German and international tax law. This also includes advice in the areas of accounting law , asset succession , foundation law , the law of tax-exempt organizations , tax and commercial criminal law , tax compliance , auditing and company valuation . Further areas of practice are corporate law , mergers & acquisitions , labor law and antitrust law . The law firm generated a turnover of 136.5 million euros in the 2018 financial year.

Locations

Flick Gocke Schaumburg has offices in Berlin , Bonn , Düsseldorf , Frankfurt , Hamburg , Munich and Stuttgart . The head office is in Bonn. The law firm maintains a representative office in Zurich . She works with LeitnerLeitner, a tax consultancy company that operates in Austria and neighboring Eastern European countries. The firm has been a member of the international tax network Taxand since 2016.

Mandates

  • The co-founder of the law firm, Harald Schaumburg, advised Steffi Graf and her family in 1995 on criminal tax investigations.
  • The majority of DAX-listed companies seek tax advice from Flick Gocke Schaumburg, according to the firm's own statements, two thirds of DAX companies do.
  • The law firm advises large energy suppliers in particular. So she took in 1999 the restructuring of Preussen Elektra before and supervised later the merger of regional companies Bayernwerk AG and PreussenElektra and the restructuring of E.ON .

  • In the legal dispute over the repayment of interest from profit participation rights, Flick Gocke represented Schaumburg for the investors of the insolvent Infinus Group.
