Stefanie Klaunig (born March 8, 1991 in Berlin , born Stefanie Schriever ) is a German handball player who plays for the second team of HSG Blomberg-Lippe .

Career

Stefanie Klaunig played for nine years between 1995 and 2004 in the youth department of HTV Sundwig-Westig in her hometown of Hemer. In 2004 she achieved her first success with her C-youth team and won the South Westphalia Championship. At the Sauerland Cup , the backcourt player was discovered in the same year by scouts from Frankfurt HC , for whose youth teams she played until 2010. During this time, she repeatedly took part in international matches for the youth national teams and in training for the FHC Bundesliga team. With the reserve in 2010, she was promoted to the third division.

She then moved to the second division club TuS Weibern , where she was one of three players to receive a second play right for the Bundesliga women from Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In some preparatory games, she got her first time with the elves . After playing for 1. FC Köln from 2011 , she moved to TSG Ober-Eschbach in 2013 . In addition to her sports career, Stefanie Klaunig studied sports communication and management at the Sports University in Cologne . She has played in the second team at HSG Blomberg-Lippe since 2014 , is also the team's co-trainer and is also responsible for marketing in the office.
