Stefanie Sieger (born March 9, 1988 in Schönau am Königssee ) is a German luge athlete .

The sports soldier who lives in Schönau has been a member of the German national squads since the 2001/2002 season. After she started successfully as a B-Junior in both the Bavarian and the German Youth Cup, she was allowed to compete in the A-Youth from 2003. There, too, Sieger repeated their good results and in 2006 became World Junior Champion with the team in Altenberg, in singles she won the silver medal. In the 2006/2007 season, the winners achieved overall Junior World Cup success for the first time, and she also defended her silver medal at the Junior World Championships and also made it into the top 10 at the German Senior Championship . Now she also reached fifth place in the German championship among seniors.

After she continued her upward trend in third place in the German Championship in 2008, she was able to qualify for the Luge World Cup 2008/2009 for the first time . In addition to the world and German champions Tatjana Hüfner as well as Anke Wischnewski and European champion Natalie Geisenberger , the winner is the fourth driver. At the first five World Cup stations, winners were used four times and always came in the top ten, their best result was a fifth place. However, since she was not always able to convince in the strong German team, the association used Corinna Martini instead of the winner from the middle of the season . From these two athletes it was decided who will be the fourth German starter to compete in the 2009 World Championships . Martini won the internal qualification against winners, also in the 2009/10 season Martini was used in almost all World Cup races. The winner was only allowed to compete in Königssee and achieved an excellent result with third place.
