Steffen Drößler (born October 14, 1990 in Gotha ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Drößler began playing indoor volleyball in 1998 and played at VC Gotha until 2007 , where he also made a few short appearances in the second Bundesliga . Then the diagonal attacker played in the junior team of VC Olympia Berlin in the second and first Bundesliga . In 2011 he moved to the second division club SV Lindow / Gransee . Drößler was runner-up in 2013 with the German national police team. He is also assistant trainer for the junior team at VC Olympia Berlin.

Career Beach

In 2004 Drößler started playing beach volleyball. With Paul Becker and Holger Wesselmann , he took podium places at several German youth championships. With Thomas Just he finished ninth at the U19 World Championships in The Hague in 2008 and ninth with Lars Flüggen at the U20 European Championships in Kos in 2009 . Finn Dittelbach was his partner from 2010 to 2012 . Dittelbach / Drößler took part twice in the German championships in Timmendorf and in 2012 they finished fifth at the U23 European championships in Assen . Drößler has formed a duo with Tom Götz since 2013 .
