Steffen Siebert (born January 17, 1974 in Annaberg-Buchholz ) is a former German ski jumper .

Career

In 1991 Siebert was included in the German squad for the newly created Continental Cup (COC). In his first season he reached 24th place overall with 31 points. He also jumped in the ski jumping World Cup for the first time on December 29, 1991 . In Oberstdorf he reached 49th place. After the season he took a year off from international competition and jumped again for the 1993/94 season. In Oberstdorf he achieved his first World Cup points on December 30, 1993 with 13th place. It remained the highest individual placement that he could achieve in the World Cup. Also in the Continental Cup he remained largely unsuccessful during the season and in the end was only 127th in the overall standings with only 27 points.

For the 1994/95 season he only jumped one jumping in the World Cup. In Engelberg he achieved World Cup points again with 19th place. However, it was his last World Cup. In the Continental Cup he reached 26th place in the overall COC ranking with 287 points at the end of the 1994/95 season . At the Christmas ski jumping in St. Moritz in 1994 he won ahead of Sylvain Freiholz and Dieter Thoma . In 1995 he ended his active ski jumping career following the season.
