The Steinbach is a left tributary of the Andlau in the French department of Bas-Rhin in the Grand Est region .

The Steinbach rises in two spring branches at an altitude of 660  m near the Rotfelsen in the Mittelbergheimerwald on the southwest slope of the Rosskopf ( 783  m ) in the Middle Vosges . After the union of its two spring branches, the Steinbach first flows south, then turns its course to the south-southeast and finally flows into the Andlau after a distance of 1.3 kilometers northeast of Eftermatten at an altitude of 392  m .
