The house stone bridge 22 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located south of the Quedlinburg market square, on the west side of the Steinbrücke street. It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. The building Steinbrücke 21 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the southeast and the building Steinbrücke 23 to the northwest .

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1677. The inscription HANS REULE ZIMMERMAN with a coat of arms refers to the Quedlinburg master carpenter Hans Reule . The trusses are decorated with pyramid beam heads and profiled infill wood . In 1882 the facade was renewed and a shop with a door in the style of historicism was added to the ground floor . A building inscription refers to this year. In 1903 the entrance to the shop was rebuilt in the Art Nouveau style.

On the courtyard side there are two-storey half-timbered buildings from the 18th century.
