The list of Classical Philologists at the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg includes representatives of this subject who have taught and researched at the University of Bamberg since the university was founded as a comprehensive university (1972) and who are still working.

Classical Philology, together with the since 2009 philosophy located in the "Department of Classics and Philosophy" and currently with two chairs represented ( Greek Studies and Latin Studies ).

The first column shows the name of the person and their life data, the second column shows entry into the university, and the third column shows their departure. Column four names the highest position reached at the University of Bamberg. At other universities, the corresponding lecturer may have made an even more extensive scientific career. The next column names special features, the career path or other information relating to the university or the seminar. In the last column there are pictures of the lecturers, which is currently difficult due to the image rights. The list does not claim to be complete.
