The list of classical philologists at the University of Trier includes well-known university professors in this subject who worked and are working at the University of Trier .

The Classical Philology department is based at the Center for Classical Studies (ZAT). With the re-establishment of the university, a professorship in Classical Philology (especially Latin Studies ) was created and filled with Hans-Otto Kröner . From 1973 Leif Bergson joined him as a second professor for classical philology (especially Greek studies ).

The first column shows the name of the person and their life data, the second column shows entry into the university, and the third column shows their departure. Column four names the highest position achieved at the University of Trier. At other universities, the corresponding lecturer may have made an even more extensive scientific career.
