The house stone bridge 19 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located south of the Quedlinburg market square. It is registered as a merchant's house in the Quedlinburg monument register. Steinbrücke 18 , which is also a listed building, is adjacent to the south .

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was built in 1676, according to other sources, not until after 1676. The inscription M. IOCEN SCHÄFER with a coat of arms refers to the master carpenter Jochim Schäfer as a builder. The upper floors protrude clearly. In the center it is crowned by a dwelling with a loading hatch . The facade of the building is richly decorated. There are diamond crosses , St. Andrew's crosses , pyramid beam heads and profiled fillers. The compartments are provided with decorative lining.

The building was renovated in 2012 by the architects qbatur . The high-quality shop window system from around 1910, partly with original glazing, was preserved.
