The Steinfleckberg ( 1341 m ) is a mountain in the Bavarian Forest north of the city of Grafenau and is located in the core zone of the Bavarian Forest National Park near the border with the Czech Republic . The bark beetle and severe storms almost completely deforested it.
The next Bavarian town is the Finsterau part of the municipality of Mauth . The nearest neighboring mountains are southwest of the Lusen ( 1373 m ) and in the Czech Republic in northeastern direction the mountain Černá ( 1315 m ).
