Stephan Emig

Stephan Emig (born January 7, 1976 in Kassel ) is a German drummer and percussionist who was best known as a long-time member of Triosence .

Live and act

Emig made his first attempts on drums at the age of 13. He began his musical training at the Modern Music School in Giessen and later moved to the Music Academy in Los Angeles. Since 1998 he has worked as a professional drummer and percussionist a. a. with Hamid Baroudi , Christina Lux , Ritmo del Mundo , Stefanie Heinzmann , Jazzkantine or David Garrett .

From its founding in 1999 to 2018, Emig was part of the jazz trio Triosence , with whom he created numerous albums. With Dirk Hoppe (vocals, keyboards) and Ingo Hassenstein he forms the trio Planting Robots , which has released its first album. He can also be heard on albums by Gregor Meyle , Christoph Busse , Klaus Lage and Edgar Knecht. He is also involved in the tour for the TV show The Voice of Germany on Tour . He also wrote the book 5 Ways to More Musicality . He currently lives in Hamburg.
