Stephan Rauhut (politician, 1974)

Stephan Rauhut (born September 12, 1974 in Görlitz ) is a German politician ( CDU ), businessman and entrepreneur . In autumn 2013 he was elected federal chairman of the Silesian Landsmannschaft .

Life

Stephan Rauhut lived in Görlitz until 1989, then after the reunification of Germany he attended the secondary school in Springe from 1989 to 1991 . From August 1991 he trained as a bank clerk at BHW and was employed there until July 2002. Since August 2002 he has been running a self-employed agency for Deutsche Vermögensberatung ( DVAG ) in Bonn. From 1997 to 2000 he attended evening grammar school in Bonn - Dottendorf .

He is a long-time member of the Silesian Landsmannschaft, chairman of the Bonn district group and was deputy chairman of the federal government of expellees in North Rhine-Westphalia from 2010–2012 . In the 2013 federal election, he ran as a CDU candidate (state list position 60) for North Rhine-Westphalia.

On November 9, 2013, Stephan Rauhut was elected national chairman of the Silesian regional team to succeed Rudi Pawelka at Haus Schlesien in Königswinter . Since 2014 he has also been Vice President of the Association of Expellees.
