Stephan Schöne (born March 6, 1962 in Wülfrath ) is a former German handball player , trainer and manager.

Life

The tall, beautiful man began his career at his hometown club TB Wülfrath . With the team he first played in the 2nd handball league . The club merged in 1983 with the neighboring club TuRU Düsseldorf and in 1984 Schöne rose with the team in the first division . In 1987 he then moved to SG Wallau / Massenheim . With this team he was able to win a number of national titles and also have international successes. In 1995 Schöne went to LTV Wuppertal - four years as a player and then one year as a coach. In the Bundesliga, Schöne scored 1,242 goals, 118 of them by seven meters , in 341 games.

Schöne has played 103 international matches for Germany in which he scored 195 goals.

From April 2000 to July 2002, Schöne was a manager at SG Wallau / Massenheim.
