Stephan Schiffers

Stephan Schiffers (* 1975 in Hamburg ) is a German film director , screenwriter and film editor .

After his training in film editing , Schiffers worked as a film editor, producer and assistant director for Christian Petzold, among others . 2001–2005 he studied film directing at the International Film School in Cologne .

His film Goldjunge ran successfully at national and international festivals and was nominated for the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Award and the First Steps Award in 2006. Schiffers works as an author, film and commercial director in Cologne .

His brother is the musician Heinrich Schiffers . He is the grandson of the sculptor Paul Egon Schiffers and the actors Pamela Wedekind and Charles Regnier .
