Goldjunge is a German fictional film directed by Stephan Schiffers from 2005.

Oliver has had an unsuccessful career in West Germany and is returning to his East German hometown. He now wants to sell the house in which his mother died lonely. His childhood friend Ronny helps him with the cleanup. But even to him he cannot admit his personal or professional failure.

Goldjunge was the director's and producer's thesis at the International Film School in Cologne in 2005 . The film was funded by the Filmstiftung NRW and the Filmbüro Bremen .

The short film was bought by the Franco-German broadcaster Arte and first broadcast on March 31, 2006. The film was also shown successfully at numerous festivals such as Grenzland-Filmtage Selb 2006 , achtung berlin - new berlin film award 2006 or Festival internacional de cine de Monterey, Mexico, 2006 . He was also nominated for the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Award 2006 and First Steps . In 2005 the film was included in the catalog of the AG Kurzfilm .
