Stephanie Lohr (born December 9, 1983 ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She is a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament and mayor of Worms-Abenheim .

education and profession

Stephanie Lohr studied law at the University of Mannheim from 2003 to 2008 . She then completed a legal clerkship at the Zweibrücken Higher Regional Court . She passed the examination for the second state examination in 2010 and thus achieved the status of a fully qualified lawyer. From 2013 to 2015, she also studied at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and graduated with a Masters of Business Administration degree . From 2011 until the acceptance of her state parliament mandate, she worked at Technischen Werken Ludwigshafen (TWL), most recently as an in-house lawyer and head of the HR department .

politics

Stephanie Lohr was a member of the city ​​council of Worms from 2009 to 2014 . Since January 2019 she has been the chairwoman of the CDU district association of the city of Worms. In the local elections on May 26, 2019 , she was elected mayor of the Abenheim district of Worms by 61.5 percent of those eligible to vote. She also acted as the top candidate of her party. Stephanie Lohr has been a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament since July 1, 2019, where she represents constituency 32 ( Worms ). She replaced the current mayor of the city of Worms , Adolf Kessel . In the state parliament, she is a full member of the committees for agriculture and viticulture , social affairs and labor, as well as the committee for the environment, energy, nutrition and forestry. Stephanie Lohr is also a deputy member of the Committee for Home Affairs, Sport and State Planning.

Stephanie Lohr lives in Worms-Abenheim and is an active member of the volunteer fire brigade there .
