Stephen Hill (born May 7, 1985 ) is a British biathlete .

Stephen Hill is a soldier in the British Forces and serves in the Royal Horse Artillery . He made his international debut at the Junior European Championships in Langdorf in 2006 , where he finished 69th in the sprint. This was followed by several appearances in the European Junior Cup, since the 2007/08 season in the European Biathlon Cup . In his first race in the senior category, he was 46th in the sprint in Geilo . The World Cup debut followed at the beginning of the 2007/08 World Cup season in Kontiolahti , where he was 111th of the individual race. With the relay, an 18th place in Pokljuka was the best result. In Östersund Hill took part in the 2008 Biathlon World Championships . In addition to a 23rd place with the relay, he reached 101st place in the individual. It was also Hill's best result in the World Cup. He also took part in the relay race of the European Biathlon Championships in 2008 in Nové Město and took 15th place with the British relay. Nationally he won the bronze medal three times in a row with the relay from 2007 to 2009. In addition, he won bronze in the team competition in 2006. In 2009 he won the title with the team and silver with the military patrol. After the season, Hill initially ended his active career, but was again considered in the squad for the 2009/2010 season .
