Stettenhofen is a parish village and part of the municipality Langweid am Lech in the Swabian district of Augsburg in Bavaria ( Germany ). Stettenhofen has its own exit on Bundesstraße 2 . A green bridge leads over the B2 near Stettenhofen. The Catholic parish of Jesus the Good Shepherd in Stettenhofen belongs to the Augsburg-Land deanery in the diocese of Augsburg . The church consecration took place on December 11, 1960. Stettenhofen is one of the border towns of the Alemannic dialect area to Bavarian.

history

Stettenhofen was an independent municipality and was incorporated into the municipality of Langweid am Lech on January 1, 1970 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

On May 13, 2015, more than 50 houses were badly damaged by a tornado that passed through Affing and Stettenhofen.
