The SK Stettiner Rasenfreunde was a German sports club from Stettin , located in today's Poland .
history
The club was founded in 1920 and initially played in the Pomerania district of the Baltic Lawn and Winter Sports Association . The competition in their own city was huge, however, so that the lawn fans could not record any notable successes. For the 1925/26 season , the leap into the district class Stettin, which was finished with 7th place. In the coming season, the club rose again, but by the 1928/29 season , the lawn friends again reached the top district class. For the 1930/31 season, the Pomerania district changed associations and from then on played under the Association of Brandenburg Ball Game Clubs. This season, the club managed to qualify for the Pomeranian football final by a fifth place in the Stettin district league, which, however, was finished in last place without a win. 1931/32 the club rose from the district league. Even after the introduction of the Gauliga Pommern, a return to first class was not possible.
After the Second World War, Szczecin became part of Poland . The Stettiner Rasenfreunde - like all other German clubs and institutions - were forcibly dissolved.
