The Steuri Glacier is a glacier in Marie Byrd Land in western Antarctica . It flows 5.5 km west of the Möll Spur from the southern slopes of Mount Takahe .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and with the help of aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1959 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1975 after the Swiss glaciologist Heinrich Steuri from the University of Bern , who was part of the United States Antarctic Research Program from 1968 to 1979 worked on Byrd Station .
