Steve Bisciotti (born April 10, 1960 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American businessman , entrepreneur and owner of the NFL team Baltimore Ravens .

Career

Steve Bisciotti comes from an Italian-American working class family from a suburb of Baltimore . His parents, Bernard and Patricia Bisciotti, moved to Severna Park , Maryland , in March 1961 . He attended Severna Park High School . As an adolescent, he loved sports. His father took him to home games of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Colts . In his senior year, he played on the football team at Severna Park High School. He then studied at Salisbury State University , which he graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts ("Liberal Arts") in "Science".

In 1983 he founded the company together with his cousin Jim Davis Aerotek , a staffing company for air and space travel and flight technology. In the first year they both had sales of $ 1.5 million.
