Steve Carbone
Steve Carbone (born March 17, 1944 in Bell , California , † December 20, 2005 ) was an American racing driver and entrepreneur.
Life
In 1968 Carbone won the Hot Rod Association race in Amarillo with its Pro-Fuel dragster . A year later he was acquired in the past with a front engine dragster NHRA racing world champion . He also had a successful season in Australia the following year, during which he won almost every race. In 1971 he won the US championship in Indianapolis against his rival Don Garlits .
