Steven Dubois (born May 1, 1997 in Terrebonne ) is a Canadian short tracker .

Career

Dubois made his first international appearance at the 2016 Junior World Championships in Sofia . There he won 11th place with the relay and sixth place in the all-around competition. He made his debut in the World Cup at the beginning of the 2018/19 season in Calgary . He took 19th place over 1000 m, eighth place over 500 m and sixth place with the mixed relay. At the following World Cup in Salt Lake City , he achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with third place over 1500 m. It was followed by second place in Almaty with the relay and third places in Turin over 1000 m and 1500 m. At the 2019 World Championships in Sofia he was ninth in the all-around competition. He finished the season in second place in the 1500 m World Cup. In the following season he won the 500 m in Dresden and in Dordrecht with the relay. In addition, he won third place twice in the relay, third place over 500 m in Shanghai and second and third place each over 1000 m. At the end of the season, he finished tenth in the World Cup over 1500 m, ninth place in the World Cup over 500 m and fifth place in the World Cup over 1000 m. At the Four Continents Championships in Montreal in 2020 , he won the silver medal in the 500 m, 1000 m, 1500 m, in the all-around and with the relay.
