The Steventon Island (or Steventon Island ) is a wide, ice-covered and about 40 km long island in the Marshall Archipelago off the Saunders coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It is enclosed by the Sulzberger Ice Shelf to the west of Court Ridge .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them using aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1967 after Petty Officer Richard F. Steventon, who was stationed at Eights Station in 1963 was.
