Foundation for the preservation of industrial monuments and culture of history
The Foundation Industrial Monuments and Historical Culture is a 1995 by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the RAG Aktiengesellschaft was founded Foundation to safeguard the task of listed industrial plants and preserve public access to supplying a new monument equitable use and explore scientific. - Monopol colliery - headframe over shaft Grillo 1 and the associated hoisting machine house with electric hoisting machine

Former locations
According to its statutes, the foundation can sell individual foundation locations to third parties, provided that the new owner undertakes to maintain the monuments in the long term and to use them appropriately and appropriately for their monument properties.
- Zollverein coking plant - foundation location from 1998 to 2010 - transferred to the Zollverein Foundation on October 1, 2010 .
- Zeche Fürst Hardenberg - foundation location from 1997 to 2012 - sold to two private individuals in August 2012.
- Our Fritz colliery , shaft 1 - foundation location from 1997 to 2009 - sold to a private investor in 2009.
- Auguste Victoria colliery , shaft 4 - foundation location from 2008 to 2012 - transferred to Heimatverein Marl eV in 2012.
