The Stotzigen Firsten is a 2759 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Swiss canton of Uri and forms the northern end of the Ticino Alps . It is located south of the Furkapassstrasse . To the south it is bounded by the Muttenreuss valley, over which the Rotondo hut at 2571 m above sea level. M. can be achieved. The border between the Canton of Uri and the Canton of Valais runs about a kilometer west of the summit .
From the summit, a broad ridge leads down to Realp in the Urserental .
In winter, the Stotzigen Firsten is an extremely popular ski tour. The route leads from Realp into the Witenwasserental and from there over the above-mentioned ridge to the summit. The tour is mainly done as a day tour and is considered relatively safe even in poor snow conditions.
