The Strangways River is a river in the north of the Australian territory Northern Territory .

River course

The river rises about 25 km northeast of Scarlett Hill , immediately north of the Hodgson River Road , and flows north to the Roper Highway . Shortly before reaching the road, he turns his course to the northeast, crosses under the highway at the Mole Hill settlement and turns east. It passes the settlement of Brinea , also on the highway, and continues to the northeast, where it flows into the Roper River east of the High Black Range .
