The Strefi Hill ( Greek Λόφος Στρέφη , Lofos Strefi ) is a limestone hill in the Greek capital Athens .

The hill is located in the north of the Exarchia district , northwest of the Lykavittos .

It is said to be identical to the Anchesmos hill of antiquity, on which, according to Pausanias, a colossal Zeus statue is said to have been. In the 19th and early 20th centuries it belonged to the Strefis family, who ran a quarry there until 1911. After the quarry was closed and planted, the area was opened to the public in 1938, making it a popular excursion destination. The Strefi Hill offers lush vegetation and winding paths and terraces with a view of the Acropolis, the city and Lycabettos. On the hill there is a small outdoor theater, basketball court, playground and cafeteria.
