The Streicher ski run is a ski slope on the Planai near Schladming . It is named after the Schladming ski pioneer Sepp Streicher.

The route has existed since the lower mountain section of the Planai was developed with ski lifts. In March 2012 it was used as a race for the first time at the World Cup final of the Alpine Ski World Cup . There were women's races in the downhill , super-G and slalom , as well as the men's slalom. These races were also seen as the dress rehearsal for the world championships that took place in Schladming a year later. A women's super combination was also held on this occasion . Another well-known descent on the Planai is the ski slope of the same name .
