Stuart Bithell (born August 28, 1986 in Rochdale ) is a British sailor .
successes
Stuart Bithell took Luke Patience in the 470 dinghy at the 2012 Olympic Games in London in part where the two won the silver medal after the race had finished behind the Australian and before the Argentinean boat with 30 points. In 2009 in Copenhagen and 2011 in Perth , he won the silver medal at the world championships with Luke Patience in the 470 dinghy . In 2013 they ended their partnership and Bithell switched to the 49er boat class . He was European champion three times and also won the title at the World Championships in Porto in 2017 . In 2019 he won the bronze medal in Auckland .
