Stuben is a village in the municipality of Weißenstein in Carinthia, Austria.
Stuben is located below the Stubner Berg, a ridge on the left bank of the Drau , on a former Roman road and was the seat of the Ortenburg nursing courts of the Fresach and Weißenstein offices. The Strasserhof , the former office building of Stuben, is a rural property whose history can be traced back to the time of the Counts of Ortenburg in the 12th century. It is considered to be the oldest property in the entire municipality. The name Strasserhof goes back to Martin Strasser , who was a village judge here at the beginning of the 17th century.
The place was already part of the community Weißenstein in the 19th century. In 1875 it comprised eight houses with 54 residents.
A small church of St. Gertraud, named from 1615 and located south of Stuben, was only used until 1951 due to its disrepair and destroyed by the floods of 1965/66.
