The Studentenberg is an elevation in the Vieburger wood in the Gaarden-Süd and Kronsburg district of Kiel .

In 1880, an elevated tank with a capacity of 2000 m³ was built on it at a height of 51 m above sea level . The waterworks, built according to plans by Bernhard Salbach , is the first modern one in the city of Kiel .
