description
The approximately 35 meter long step grotto has a 3.5 meter wide and 1 meter high entrance. An approximately 7 meter long corridor with a false ceiling was uncovered during excavations by the Joanneum and leads to the 9 meter long, 5 meter wide and 4 meter high hall of the cave. The hall is presumably at the intersection with a chasm trending northwest and the floor is determined by the stratification of the rock. In the south-west, an approximately 5-meter-long, steeply sloping corridor connects to the hall.
The cave floor consists of cave clay with sandy deposits.
