Su Golgo is a plateau in Sardinia surrounded by the bright limestone mountains of the Supramonte of Baunei (Italian: Supramonte Baunese) with a surface of dark basalt lava . It is one of the most important nature reserves on the island and is located in the east of the Nuoro Province (NU) above Baunei.

The small pilgrimage church of San Pietro di Golgo (still Santu Pedru Olgo around 1800) is located on the plateau, which is no longer isolated today , surrounded by pilgrims' dwellings (cumbessias) and a group of large wild olive trees . In front of the church there is a human- faced baity lot .

Pedra Longa rock needle - long rock

South of the church, past large basalt blocks and water collecting basins , the almost 300 m deep karst gorge Su Sterru opens in the Voragine del Golgo (the basalt cover ends at a depth of 30 m). On the eastern edge of the plateau by the sea is the approximately 80 m high rock needle "Punta Pedra Longa".
