Sucha Balka ( Ukrainian Суха Балка ; Russian Сухая Балка Suchaja Balka ) is a village in Dnepropetrovsk Oblast in central Ukraine with about 750 inhabitants.
The village of Sukha Balka is located in the northeast of the urban area of Shovti Vody and belongs (in accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee of the Regional Council of People's Deputies of Dnepropetrovsk Oblast of April 15, 1967 No. 263) to its municipality.
The village is largely surrounded by the municipality of the Bohdano-Nadeschdiwka village belonging to the Pyatychatky district . The closest train station is that of Pyatychatky , 9 km away. The inhabitants live mainly from agriculture.
Population development
While the village still had 952 inhabitants at the 1989 census, the number fell to 756 by October 2014.
