Story / anecdotes

At the end of 1996 the singer planned to create songs together with the musician Andrés Sylleros in order to have them reserved as demos for a new album. Nicole needed a music producer and decided to call Gustavo Cerati personally while he was in Chile; the musician accepted immediately.

During January 1997 the sound engineer Guillermo Ugarte (ex-member of the electronics group Los Mismos), Gustavo Cerati, Nicole and Sylleros worked in the studio Master de Santiago to bring the album into shape. In April of the same year it was mastered in London.

Sueños en Tránsito was published on June 19, 1997 by BMG. Pop-rock style, with hints of techno and very electronic, it had a sound that sounded very progressive at the time of its release.

Later there was a limited version of the album, a multimedia album or an enhanced CD of the album, which contained images of the album, videos, photos, exclusive material, a press archive and more.
