Sue Scullard

Sue Scullard (* 1958 in Medway Towns ) is a British writer and graphic artist.

She studied engraving and editing at Camberwell College of Arts and the Royal College of Art in London and received her Master of Arts in 1983 . Since then she has been working as a freelance illustrator and wood engraving artist - for the publishers Faber & Faber and Folio Society , among others . As such, she also presents her work at exhibitions and festivals. In the late 1980s , Sculard excelled with the publication of several children's books. In particular, the stories about the hot air ballooning adventurer Harriet Fanshawe made her famous.

Today Scullard who in her spare time in the lives Scottish Highlands and in the Alps Mountaineering operates in Cranbrook in the county of Kent .
