The Suldalslågen (also Lågen ) is a river in the municipality Suldal in the Fylke Rogaland in southwestern Norway . The river drains Lake Suldalsvatnet to the Sandsfjord . He covers a distance of 22 km. Its mouth is near Sand . The natural catchment area of Suldalslågen covers 1463 km².

The flow of Suldalslågen has been regulated for the purpose of generating energy since the 1960s. Much of the water now flows directly from Suldalsvatnet to Hylen kraftverk , which is located on the Hylsfjord . Nevertheless, the Suldalslågen is considered a good salmon water , especially below Sandsfossen .
