Sumpering is a former hamlet of the Saldenburg community . It was east of today's FRG 27 district road between Haufang and Hals .

history

In the first recording from the period between 1808 and 1864, the place is shown and referred to as Sompering . Sumpering is mentioned in the topo-geographical-statistical lexicon of the Kingdom of Bavaria from 1832 with 2 houses and 17 inhabitants. In the 1871 census, the hamlet belonged to the Catholic parish in Thurmansbang, more than five kilometers away, and to the district of the school in Saldenburg. The last time Sumpering was listed as a place of residence in a census was 1961 with four residents and one residential building.

Hildegard Kronawitter , a former member of the state parliament, was born in Sumpering . In the meantime, however, the place no longer exists.
