Sun He ( Chinese  孫 和  /  孙 和 ), age name Zixiao ( 子孝 , Zǐxiào ), formally Emperor Wen von Wu ( 文 皇帝 , Wen huangdi ; * 223 ; † 253 ) was one of the sons and temporarily Crown Prince of Sun Quan , the first emperor of the Wu dynasty .

He was born in 223 to Sun Quan's favorite concubine Wang at the time and a favorite of his father himself. 236, at the age of 13, was placed on staff and Sun He became known for his education and humility. After his older brother Sun Deng , the then crown prince, died in 241, Sun He was named as the eldest living son of Sun Quan as crown prince.

Almost immediately after his appointment as crown prince, trouble loomed. Sun Quan preferred another Wang son, Sun Ba (the prince of Lu), and gave him the same honors as the crown prince. Sun Quan had given them common staff and residence before; this was not considered traditional. In 245, Sun Quan shared her staff and residence, but they still worked closely together. Prince Sun Ba developed ambitions to become crown prince himself. He took on some officials, and soon the government split into a He and a Ba faction. Many He faction officials were dismissed or executed on Sun Bas's false allegations; even veteran general Lu Xun died in anger after Sun Quan reprimanded him for defending Crown Prince He. His mother Wang feared that Sun Quan would blame her for the falling out and soon passed away. This made Sun He's position even more uncertain.

250 Sun Quan was tired of his sons' quarrel and consulted with his daughter Ulstu Rugui Mahu Kuji and his assistant Sun Jun . On her advice, he forced Sun Ba to commit suicide and deposed Sun He. He made his youngest son Sun Liang the new Crown Prince . Sun He was reduced to the rank of commoner and exiled to Guzhang. Shortly before his death, Sun Quan made him Prince of Nanyang in 252. He died soon after, and Sun Liang succeeded him under the reign of Zhuge Ke .

Zhuge Ke was the uncle of Sun He's wife Zhang, and rumors soon arose that Zhuge Ke had plans to make Sun He emperor. After Sun Jun eliminated Zhuge Ke 253, the latter decided to end the confusion once and for all. First he demoted Sun He to mean again and banished him to Xindu, then he sent messengers to force him to commit suicide. Princess Zhang also committed suicide. Sun Hao's four sons, Sun Hao , Sun De, Sun Qian, and Sun Jun, were raised by Sun Hao's mother, He , who refused to commit suicide.

After Sun Hao became emperor in 264, he posthumously appointed Sun He Emperor Wen and reburied his body with imperial honors.
