Sunisa Khotseemueang (* 8. April 1993 in Khon Kaen ) is a Thai athlete, referring to the heptathlon specializes.

Athletic career

Sunisa Khotseemueang competed in her first international competition at the 2010 Asian Junior Championships in Hanoi , where she won the silver medal behind Taiwanese Chu Chia-ling with 4551 points . The following year she was fourth at the Southeast Asian Games in Palembang with 4840 points and in 2012 she won the silver medal again at the Junior Asian Championships in Colombo with 4902 points; this time behind the Indian Purnima Hembram . In 2013 she won the bronze medal at the Southeast Asian Games in Naypyidaw with 5152 points behind her Wassana Winatho and Narcisa Atienza from the Philippines. In 2015 she won the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore with 5396 points, as well as the Games two years later in Kuala Lumpur with 5430 points. At the beginning of September she won the bronze medal in the indoor pentathlon at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat with 3903 behind Hembram and her compatriot Winatho. In 2018 she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and could not finish her competition after the first day. In 2019 she won the bronze medal at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with 4730 points behind Filipino Sarah Dequinan and Norliyana Kamaruddin from Malaysia.

In 2016 Khotseemueang became the Thai heptathlon champion.
