The Superb was a Scottish steamship that was used for commercial purposes.

history

The ship was built by John Scott and Sons in Greenock and fitted with two side-balancing steam engines by David Napier of Glasgow . It was first used on the route from Greenock to Liverpool . 1824 was the French shipowners Pierre Andriel sold and in honor of Ferdinand I in Real Ferdinando ( Italian King Ferdinand renamed). It replaced the ship Ferdinando Primo on the route from Naples to Marseille .
