Susanne Krauss

Susanne Krauss (born Susanne Sutor on February 4, 1967 in Graefelfing near Munich ) is a German artist . She works as a photographer , illustrator and author .

Life

Susanne Krauss grew up in Germering near Munich. She completed a degree in communication design at Munich University of Applied Sciences , which she graduated in 1991 with a degree in communication designer.

Her first children's book, The Story of the King's Puzzle , which she wrote and illustrated, was published in 1992. By 2015, a total of 120 other books with their illustrations, photographs and texts had been published. She worked with well-known authors such as Manfred Mai ( My First School Day ), Sabine Jörg ( Max is one of them , Max and Mona ), Sabine Seyffert , Detlev Jöcker and many more. Some of her books have been translated into Polish, Korean, Dutch, Ukrainian and English.

In 2005 Susanne Krauss switched to photography . She made a name for herself primarily as a portrait and lifestyle photographer. Her clients continue to include publishers as well as artists, politicians and business enterprises such as B. Random House , McKinsey & Company , Spiegel Online or Wala Heilmittel GmbH.

As an artist, she exhibited for the Goethe-Institut (Kinderwelten, 2007) and at Illustratorama.
