Susanne Schenda (born June 16, 1931 in Prague ) is a German artist and photographer . She has lived in Jona , Switzerland , since 1985 .

Life

Susanne Schenda studied English and Romance studies at the University of Munich and was from 1954 to 1955 with a Fulbright scholarship (for English and art) at the University of Colorado , Boulder . Since 1958 she has been married to the folklorist , literary scholar and narrative researcher Rudolf Schenda († October 14, 2000 ). They have two daughters together. From 1980 she deepened her artistic knowledge in courses with Anna Elisa Heine (photography), as a guest student at the Kassel University with Werner Kausch (painting) and at the F + F school in Zurich. 1985 move to Switzerland.
