Werner Kausch
Werner Kausch (born March 2, 1924 in Oberhausen ; † May 8, 1993 in Kassel ) was a German informal painter and university professor .
Life
Werner Kausch grew up in Oberhausen. He then lived in Hanover . From 1948 to 1952 he studied painting in Hanover and from 1952 to 1954 at the École des Beaux-Arts and the Académie Ranson in Paris. In 1959 he took part in the special exhibition at the Kunsthalle Bremen . In 1973 he became a professor for painting at the comprehensive university in Kassel, department of art and founded the Studio Kausch in Kassel . In 1975 he exhibited Rolf Gerner and in 1987 Siglinde Kallnbach .
