Suzanne Lloyd

Suzanne Lloyd (born November 11, 1934 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress .

Life

Suzanne Lloyd grew up in Toronto, the city of her birth before moving to California to attend university . She graduated from Pasadena Junior College.

Lloyd made her acting debut in 1958 on an episode of the television show Lux Playhouse . She gained fame in the years that followed, primarily through her appearances in numerous television series. This includes the Twilight Zone episode Perchance to Dream as well as individual episodes of A Thousand Miles of Dust , Smoking Colts , Bonanza and dozens of other roles in series that mostly belong to the western or crime genre. In Simon Templar , Lloyd played six different characters in a total of six episodes between 1964 and 1968.

As a film actress, Lloyd was among other things in 1960 in the star-studded comedy Pepe - What can the world cost to see in the role of Carmen . From the 1970s, her appearances in film and television became less frequent, before she withdrew from acting entirely after a guest appearance in Shadow of Passion .

Suzanne Lloyd married television producer and director Allan A. Buckhantz in 1953. The marriage ended in divorce. Her second marriage to Buddy Bregman lasted from 1961 until they divorced in 1988. Their daughter is the actress Tracey Bregman .
