engine

The air / oil-cooled four-stroke engine with wet sump lubrication and an overhead camshaft is equipped with two balancer shafts to suppress the vibrations typical of single-cylinder engines . The double ignition in connection with four-valve technology and double manifold ensures better combustion. The mixture is prepared using a Mikuni flat slide carburetor with a 38 mm bore. The engine is started by a kick starter , with the support of an automatic and a manual decompression mechanism .

Power transmission

Power is transmitted to the five-speed gearbox via a multi-plate oil bath clutch. The gearshift pattern of the transmission is: 1st gear down, 2nd to 5th gear up. The primary reduction is 2.310: 1, the final reduction 2.625: 1 with the gear steps 2.416, 1.625, 1.263, 1.000, 0.826: 1. The final drive is via a permanently lubricated O-ring chain with 108 links.
