Sven Anders Viktor Lundquist (born March 24, 1920 in Borås , † September 3, 2007 in Lidingö ) was a Swedish sports shooter .
successes
Sven Lundquist took part in the 1948 Olympic Games in London , where he competed at 25 m with a rapid fire pistol . He scored 569 points, which put him in third place and won the bronze medal behind Károly Takács and Enrique Sáenz-Valiente . In the previous year he had already won bronze in the individual competition with the rapid-fire pistol at the world championships , while he was runner-up in the team competition as well as in the team competition with the free pistol. With the latter he came second again in 1949 in Buenos Aires , again with the team .
