Sven Zywitza (born September 30, 1970 in Stuttgart ) is a former German ice hockey player who played in the ice hockey Bundesliga and German ice hockey league for the Augsburg EV and the ERC Ingolstadt between 1987 and 2003 .

Career

Sven Zywitza began his career in 1987 at EV Stuttgart . After a short stopover at Preussen Berlin , the winger moved to Augsburg EV in the summer of 1991/92 . There he developed into a leading player and was also appointed to the national team during this time . After the Bosman ruling, Zywitza moved to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1997 and played for Bietigheim-Bissingen . In the following season he moved to the north to the Crocodiles Hamburg . He returned to Bavaria in the 1999/2000 season to ERC Ingolstadt and played in the DEL and the 2nd Bundesliga until 2003. The trained real estate agent had to end his career in 2002 due to a shoulder injury. In 750 appearances in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga he scored 195 goals and 240 assists. Zywitza won the championship twice in the 2nd Bundesliga, in 1993/94 with the Augsburg EV and in 2000/01 with the ERC Ingolstadt.

Sven Zywitza played over 50 international matches in the DEB youth team. With the national team, Sven Zywitza took part in the 1995 Ice Hockey World Championship in Sweden.

Later life and work

Sven Zywitza completed a during and after its active Hockey career business studies . He successfully completed this in 2005 with a degree in business administration. He then held various management positions at ERC Ingolstadt until the end of 2013 (including commercial director, managing director).
